LUSENTIA INTEGRATIVE WELLNESS

Lusentia Integrative Wellness is a nonprofit organization providing free community support and evidence-based wellness programs for individuals in emotional crisis, neurodivergent individuals, highly sensitive people, and underserved populations in Atlanta and beyond.

Lusentia is led by neurodivergent and highly sensitive founders who built and applied these wellness methods to themselves first — and are now offering them to everyone who needs them. Our work is rooted in lived experience, not an outside perspective.

The rapidly evolving AI ecosystem is accelerating job displacement, social isolation, sedentary lifestyles, and mental health crises. Most wellness services are built for neurotypical, financially stable individuals. Lusentia is explicitly designed for those falling through the gaps — economically, neurologically, and socially.

OUR MISSION

Lusentia Integrative Wellness is dedicated to creating a welcoming, nourishing, neurodivergent inclusive safe haven for underserved and vulnerable populations in Atlanta and beyond – supporting empowerment at the level of body, nervous system, mind, and community.

Most wellness and mental health services are designed for neurotypical, financially stable individuals. They are not built for the way the nervous systems of neurodivergent and highly sensitives actually work. They are not free. And they rarely intervene before crisis.

Lusentia is designed specifically for the people that mainstream wellness services are not reaching. And it is designed by people who are themselves neurodivergent and highly sensitive. We know from the inside what this population needs, because we needed it first.

OUR VISION

A world where every person — regardless of neurology, income, or life circumstance — has access to embodied, relational, and community-based wellness. As economic disruption, social isolation, and mental health crises accelerate, Lusentia offers a human-scale antidote: real presence, real practice, and real community.

THE DOCUMENTED NEED

Lusentia exists to address a set of overlapping, documented crises that existing services are not adequately reaching. Each of our programs directly addresses one or more of these measurable gaps.

Most never receive adequate care due to cost, stigma, or lack of culturally appropriate access

The highest rate of any disability group — driven largely by environments not designed for their nervous systems.

With children, finances, and mental health all profoundly affected, often without adequate early support.

Accelerating economic anxiety, identity loss, and mental health crisis — especially in care-based roles.

Divorce mediation, mental health support, and wellness services are financially inaccessible to large portions of Atlanta’s population. Our free community clinic removes the cost barrier entirely for those who need it most.

ADHD, autism, sensory processing differences, and related neurotypes are profoundly underserved by mainstream wellness and mental health infrastructure. Lusentia is designed from the inside out for how these nervous systems actually work.

Estimated 15–20% of the population, HSPs are significantly more affected by environmental and relational stress. Standard interventions frequently fail to account for sensory sensitivity — and often make things worse.

THE FOUNDING TEAM

What makes Lusentia genuinely different is not only our programs — it is who created them and why. Our founding team is neurodivergent and highly sensitive. These methods were developed for us first. That is not a marketing claim. It is the origin of everything we do.

And now we are expanding our programs with an eye on the near future— explicitly designed for this moment of AI-driven disruption, isolation, and disconnection.

WHY THIS INITIATIVE EXISTS

A few years ago, Nancy was barely here. Not dramatically — quietly. The way people disappear when the world keeps asking them to be someone their nervous system was never built to be. What reached her was not a clinical system. It was a set of methods that finally spoke the language her body understood.

Brigitte spent years in chronic pain, caregiving, quietly exhausted — until the same methods gave her back her body, her energy, and her clarity.

Nico created those methods because he needed a new approach himself. Decades of his private practice have shown that his heart-centered approach is especially effective for those who fall through the cracks of mainstream wellness care.

We are not building something about healing. We are people who have been healed, and empowered, offering what we received.

Lusentia’s founding board is small by design — we are looking for a handful of deeply aligned individuals who bring specific expertise and genuine commitment to our mission. Board meetings are quarterly. The work is meaningful.

We are not looking for prestigious names. We are looking for people who will engage substantively, contribute their expertise, and care about the communities we serve. If that is you — or if you know someone it might be — we would love to talk.
